Mewar Festival

Overlapping with the Gangaur Festival, every year to welcome the advent of spring, the Mewar Festival of Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan, India, is celebrated with great zest and zeal. This festival is celebrated in the Hindu month of Chaitra (March-April). The Mewar Festival has unique charm about it. They decorate their hands and feet with Menhadi (Heena).

Finally at the Gangaur Ghat idols are offered to the lake with the religious singing and festivity. Gangaur Ghat is at the picturesque lake – Lake Pichola. Lake Pichola is a very popular spot for enjoying the boat cruise.
