A few days before Holi (the festival of colors & enjoy) in the month of March there is a festival named Brij Festival celebrated every year in the town of Bharatpur in the vibrant & colorful state of Rajasthan. This festival is celebrated with great zeal and zest in the honor of Lord Krishna.

The main attraction of the Brij Festival of Bharatpur, Rajasthan is Raslila Dance, showing the story of eternal love of Radha-Krishna. Villagers in bright & colorful costumes can be seen singing and performing the Raslila Dance. The Raslila Dance depicts the immortal love story of Radha and Krishna.

During this festival on the eve of Holi, All of Bharatpur, reverberates the sound of folk songs and fascinates the people. There is no any bond to participate in this festival. All the people whether they are men of women, young or old, participate in this vibrant Brij Festival of Bharatpur.
Brij Festival, Bharatour
The Brij Festival is also known as the Brij Mahotsava. Whole of place of Bharatpur, Rajasthan during this festival is painted in bright colors. During Brij Festival/Brij Mahotsava no one can be remained from being spattered with colors.

Bharatpur is situated on the Delhi - Mumbai main railway line and also on National Highway no. 11 (Bikaner - Agra). Agra is the nearest Airport (56 km).
