The museum inside the fort has exquisite collection of howdas, royal cradles, miniatures, musical instruments, costumes and furniture. This mammoth fort contains many elegant palaces. Some of the famous among them are Moti Mahal, Janki Mahal, Rang Mahal and Sheesh Mahal.
Jaswant Thada : It is a white marble memorial built in memory of Maharaja Jashwant Singh II. Jaswant Thada has wonderful beautiful gardens. It is the landmark of the city.
Umaid Bhawan Palace : Umaid Bhawan Palace is known to be one of the largest private residences in the world. Presently, its one part acts as a heritage hotel and is managed by Taj Hotels. Umaid Bhavan always has a temperature of approximately 23 degrees Celsius.
Government Museum : it is located in the middle of Umaid public garden. Visit this meuseum will be enriching experience, especially for the children.
Balsammand Lake : It is a popular picnic spot, encircled by hills. It is an artificial lake built in 1159 AD. It lies at a distance of 7 Km from the main city.
